MYANMAR HARP scarf

This artwork was created for Myanmar textile company, Fabrix.

I wanted to create a design which would be a tribute to Myanmar most beautiful traditional instrument, the harp.

The Myanmar text is a reference to an old child riddle about the instrument :

It lands on earth, but it is not a bird.

It is held against the bosom, but it is not a baby.

It has a curling tail, but it is not a monkey.

It sings a sweet melody, but it is not a maiden
