In September 2018, 360 Beatz, one of the leading music agency based in Yangon, approached me to help them to develop their artist network and bring plus-value to the services they already provide.

I proposed them to create a music media that will help shape the music scene (outside of mainstream medias) & create new opportunities for their music network as well as bringing in new artists. This is how Khit Sense was born.

Khit Sense is a social media platform created by a group of music lovers for music lover showcasing the diversity of contemporary Myanmar music scene.

Khit in Myanmar language means “Generation”. The brand was built to become the voice of the young generation of artists shaping today’s Myanmar music scene.

The branding of this project needed to be young and vibrant, symbolising the generation the brand represented. I thus decided to go for a high contract between black and a colourful gradient.

The idea was also to build a brand recognisable just by its icon. The sound wave hand both a reference to the name of the brand and to the power of music.
